I kept peeling the paint off my garage floor no matter what brand or type of paint I tried. I followed the procedures every time, but it started peeling again within a week or two of usage. Nice mat. It lays flat. Dirt can fall in between the dots, which prevents it from being tracked inside. The shortcoming is that the dots aren't that effective in scrubbing dirt off shoes. These are exactly what I was looking for. I had purchased, from a local hardware store, what I thought were quality mats. After only about 4 months the wiper spikes broke off and left behind a flat surface that in turn became nothing more then a water tray. Not useful as a mat to wipe messy footwear on.
