Please note: If the upper hole on the side of the chair is facing outward, this is not a manufacturing defect. Simply reverse the chair seat as demonstrated in the video on the product page to resolve the issue. It took us several hours to finish putting it together mostly because we don't often construct things. When you get to the part where you attach an inner ring to the outer legs, we used the large box it came in to hold it in place by placing it under the metal pieces- which balanced it and held it in place while you screw in place.. I love the modern look of the table, but overall it's a little lightweight and the chairs make a loud scratchy when you move them. It's a fine table/chair set for the price & look; next time I'll prob go for a more high-quality heavier piece! Also had to have my handyman come over to assemble -- it took him about 2-3 hours..
