This screen is made from our premium 100% FSC certified wood. For staining, painting, and screen upkeep, we suggest staining this product every 6 months to maintain optimal color. If you choose to paint the screen, please refer to our staining and painting guide. Our no-dig installation system makes installing this screen simple. There’s no digging or tearing up your yard with unnecessary holes. If you have harder ground, we recommend wetting the ground that you plan to insert the panels into and then use a mallet to insert the stakes into the ground.

Installation was very easy, instructions are accurate. The wood is high quality but I suggest wearing gloves as the stain is very pungent when first opening the box. I had to dig a hole for the posts first as our ground is full of rocks. The metal posts are fragile and will bend and twist if your ground is not soft and has no rocks. Once installed, it is very stable and feels firmly in place. The strong smell went away after a couple hours outside. I’m purchasing a second one to extend it! Love this privacy fence!!. Tissa. The only tool required for an approximately 90-minute assembly of the 2 panels is a cordless drill and a mallet for a no-dig installation (for the harder ground we recommend using an auger). We want to keep your yard looking as pristine as possible, so we aim to eliminate any sort of digging or concrete. The distance between the panel’s slats is roughly ¾” which makes it perfect for providing you with privacy around patios, decks, or porches while also promoting efficient airflow around air conditioning units. When installed, the distance between the ground and the bottom slat is less than 2 inches meaning dogs, cats, and children will not be able to crawl underneath it. Nice looking shed, but is basically corrugated plastic that looks like wood. Rather flimsy overall and not at all watertight. Roof is actually 2 pieces. While it appears to be designed to funnel water away from that seam, when you lift the lid, water runs right inside. I may attempt to add a clear silicone filling to the seam to stop the water. Also, the doors don't quite line up as they are plastic and rather flimsy too. But the hardware is solid and when closed properly, should be secure. That said, these are manufacturer issues.
