A little damaged by being delivered, scratched, contacted support and next day got back with me on ways to find a solution. But have yet to hear back now. Overall machine is pretty decent, sides get hot at first, but then cools off. The spacing is a little tighter than we thought. Normal 750ml wine bottles can’t really fit in both ways, that shows in picture (that’s a con), so I wouldn’t say 45 bottles. I was holding off on reviewing this one until we had a chance to use it. With big brands out there competing for who can keep things the coldest, I have to say Im actually impressed by how well it worked. Its also a Gods send on my back! The little features like side shelves, internal shelves for making drinks, bottle opener etc are fantastic! I also really loved the ability to split the cooler in half with a divider panel. It allowed me to organize which drinks were kid friendly and which were not. The design is modern and it was very easy to assemble. My only critique is everyone who approached this initially was confused on how to open it (center front there are two indentations near the middle for your fingers to lift the top covers) and kept ripping the front bar off. It's great for the time I used it! It comes in pieces that you stack together, it's quite sturdy once you have the weight of the wine bottles on it and easy to build and take apart since there are no screws or nails involved. I actually stained all the pieces to be a darker color and match my other furniture. I used this for a year or two before upgrading to an actual wine fridge though, because I don't have central AC and there is too much temperature fluctuation in my home for storing wine (especially in the summer, it gets wayyy too hot in my house for wine -- it HAS to be in a fridge). First, Wayfair delivered this to me in two days, three days early! Kudos to Wayfair. There are virtually no combo units like this for less than $500 anywhere - more likely to get a nicer stainless bar fridge/freezer you'd spend nearly $2,000. Still, here's what you should know. The freezer has a small pipe up to the cooling area - that's how the cooling area is cooled....via the freezer. As cold air drops, that's why the minimum temperature of the cooling area is around 41 degrees. For me, the freezer was the main reason to buy this and the cooling area was for my mixers and therefore just a bonus. The unit is quiet and the blue light is pleasing. Overall this is a no-brainer for around $250. Update: one tradeoff is you'll likely need to manually defrost at least once a year.
