Took some patience to get the bags to stay put until I secured them in with the top. I used 33 gal stretchableexpandable bags with draw strings. I am using it for recycling bottles cans. When I tried to pull the bags out it was a bit snug and difficult. I plan on trying bags that don’t expand. Not sure if that will help, but I imagine it will do the trick. Excellent purchase, just what I wanted. The key is to measure the items you want to put into it before you make the purchase. In this case I did and I got right where I wanted to be size-wise. The box arrived at 36 pounds but the box itself was substantial. The items is not flimsy and most of the installation involved snapping five pieces together. That was a bit tricky and I found that a rubber mallet helped do the job, I’m 68 and in above average shape. I split the installation into parts. The hydraulic lid is a nice feature. I’m very pleased.. Clipper. Chevy Chase, MD. Wed Oct 14 2026
