Despite an unhappy husband who had to cut up all the cardboard, no damaged pieces arrived thanks to the packaging. It was not difficult to put together, although with 12 pieces, it is time consuming. The cushions are great, very thick, look well made. A little firm, but not uncomfortable. We used sealant on the wood as a precaution, and used spray fabric guard on the cushions.
