Have had this table for 1 year so far and it's great. Wanted something extra long for big dinner parties and BBQs, and it's the perfect size to fit anywhere from 6-12 people (or a few more if you squeeze, especially kids). The teak looks great upon arrival, but like all teak requires maintenance. I use Golden Care products to clean mildew after the Seattle rainy season, refresh color, and seal. Paired with 6 HOUE Paon Outdoor Dining Chairs (bamboo seat color is pretty close to teak) which are a bit pricey but worth it, and black folding chairs for the rest when extended. The table is solid, pretty well made, no problems putting it together. We bought it because of the scissor legs, which make for more leg room on the sides, also can seat 8 at least with the leaf , six wo as you see it in photo. Ends are a little closer to legs but better to have two people max dealing with legs than four. I did sand the top with 220 and 400 grit, then rubbed in some teak oil. The corners and edges were fairly “sharp”., and the top not as smooth as I like. But fine now. For the price I guess it is too much to expect but didn’t take me 45 minutes, I am sure the factory could do it in a couple of minutes if that.. Anonymous. Fri Aug 28 2026
