Outdoor String Lighting Ideas

This permanent outdoor lighting system eliminates the need for seasonal ladder-climbing by providing a durable, year-round solution for your home’s exterior. Equipped with 5-in-1 RGBAICW technology, each light delivers a high-output 60 lumens, ensuring your house remains brightly lit with vibrant colors or true white light (2200K-6500K) that standard RGB strands cannot match. The patented slide-base design allows for a discreet, DIY installation that hides wires from view, making it ideal for neighborhoods with strict HOA regulations. Managing your home’s look is simplified through the AI Lighting Creator, which generates custom holiday effects from simple voice prompts, and 32 independent zones that let you highlight different architectural peaks with unique colors. For advanced users, the system’s compatibility with WLED and Home Assistant ensures it integrates into your existing smart home setup without being locked into a single app. With an IP67 waterproof rating across the entire system, these lights withstand heavy rain and snow, providing a reliable, low-maintenance upgrade to your home's curb appeal.

I am very excited about my new lights. I cant wait to have them installed. My house is a little too high, so I need a special ladder and person to install them. They come in 4 small boxes, which is great to be able to have different sections without having to figure out how to continue where the roof ends on one side. They look very good quality. I will be back with pictures once they are installed.. Lin. Yorktown Heights, NY. Sat Oct 24 2026

Beautiful! Very easy to hang and set up. Minus one star because of the app. Orange is an impossible color to get with these lights and the timer function does not work properly - to circumvent this, I utilized a smart plug. You also need to be fairly close to the plug in for them to work. I like that the lights came in sections - I used two out of three for my house. The preprogrammed lights came shows are a lot of fun!. Zoey. Moscow, ID. Mon Oct 19 2026

Luckily, the lights were fine and very pretty after opening the inside box. The outer Wayfair box was sturdy but the little lightbox inside was not secure and the lights was very messed up. The lights were just thrown in , tangled and twisted. I've ordered from Wayfair many times and this is the first time the packaging was so poor. Could not give it a 5 star because of packaging. I’ve tried other ways of anchoring outdoor string light and this is by far the best looking. They recommend stringing lighter weight string lights which does help a lot. I started with heavier lights and the poles would be at a slight angle. I filed the base with water. I live in an area that can get very windy and these are stable even during high winds.. Julie.
