Great purchase for keeping the yard organized. Assembly was super simple- parts of the box frame just snap together to make the base/ frame, and you really only need to screw in the reinforcements, hinges and hardware. It took a little balancing/rearranging to get the bottom + four sides all attached at once but was able to do with just one person. Comes with metal supports for the long sides & top, so its sturdy enough, but just know that the sides are more flexible than sturdy. Hydraulic hinges were a beeze to install. For the price point, its a good buy and it should last a few seasons. It seems to be waterproof-ish by default - the top lays flat on the box body but it does not have any kind of overlap or fitted close mechanism that would keep out water, other than being a flat lid on top of a rectangle.. The shed arrived packaged in two big bundles and was delivered down two dirt roads to gravel driveway. Great delivery service ! My carpenter neighbor put the building together on piers. However he reinforced the floor with additional two by fours. The building was a good value with the windows. This building is my she-shed for my Mtn getaways. I love to camp and becoming intolerant to inconsiderate, loud, and drunk neighbors in next site. We purchased primitive lot in NC foothillmtn years ago. Unable to afford a second house here, my she shed will be my camping getaway site. No close site neighbors. Plenty of storage space on the shelf inside as well. I have not painted the building yet as too hot in NC but will later. It will serve as my new camping site! My neighbor Keith also constructed a deck for the she shed as well. Time will tell how this guy holds up! Assembly was a little bit of a pain, do note that you have to take tons of screws OUT upon unpacking. I though I had missing pieces. The shipping box makes it almost impossible to repack once you unpack it, so make sure you want it! Some of the panels were bent, but upon installing I realized it didn't matter, the frame aligns them and it's virtually unnoticeable. Other than that, the item feels really well made and sturdy once all together. It isn't meant to be water proof, only water resistant. It's very nice looking, and the light color is beautiful. I also liked that the wheels sere optional. The manufacturer was very quick to respond when I emailed them on their website thinking I was missing some pieces :). Current. Encinitas, CA.
