There were no reviews on this but I decided to purchase it anyway for our back porch. I wanted something to set beside my grill to store tools and other items. This will live under a covered porch. It is real wood, pine. The pine scent is almost overwhelming when you take it out of the box lol. This is very lightweight. The one door had no holes drilled for the handle so I had to do that myself. Also had to cut a notch in the shelf since it did not fit correctly. I used wood glue and the provided screws and it did sturdy up. This was one of the cheaper ones that I found on the site and overall I am happy with it. I think it will serve its purpose and I do like that it’s real wood and not the fake press board. The metal top is just a sheet over a piece of wood but I think it will be just fine.. Seth. lightweight and nice style. easy to put together, not a lot of hardware - they are used mostly to support the interlocking pieces. Unfortunately the unit I received had a couple of glitches. One of the wood pieces requiring a screw had a knot in the wood exactly in the place the screw went in. Because the wood is soft, the knot crumbled and then the rest of the piece of wood split with the screw. I ended up just leaving that corner without a screw since there was already an interlocking in place. The second issue was the interior base shelf. The pilot holes in the back were off and weren’t far back enough to screw into the back base. I left the screws out since there were 4 others in place. Cute and easy to assemble little shed. I bought because I needed something small to place on my deck for those outdoor tools and items that seem to accumulate during the changing seasons. I took measurements and then errored on the cautious side a little too much. Turned out to be smaller than expected but kept because I didn’t want to go through the hassle of returning. I’ve read other reviews about the wood being soft and they weren’t wrong. Wood mars easily, a fingernail can mark it. Overall I got what I paid for. Again, it’s cute, and for the most part is storing what it can and pretty sturdy. Time will dictate how long it will last. Great at first cute, nice feel, beautiful wood texture, but its cheap and poorly produced. Because the wood is very sensitive and not strong, it starts to wobble after you move it around a couple of times, or just after a couple years - especially if you dont empty it first before mixing.
