I wanted to put the address of my studio on a wall sign and this one looked perfect. I chose this slate sign because I could request the number as well as the street name. In placing the order, however, there was only one box to place two lines of information. So, I did the best I could indicating my number and street name. But when I received the sign, the street name had been left off. I corresponded with Wayfair's Chat and the person helping me did not know how to designate two lines either. She promised to find out and email back to me, but I never heard from her again. So, I would recommend calling Wayfair and have them place your order. The sign is really beautiful and well-made. I like the little rubber feet on the back to allow rain to filter through and assist the wall behind it in drying. I have the black slate with white numbers, and it is clear and easy to read from a distance. We use a process called dye sublimation printing which results in an incredibly high-definition finish and, because the dye is infused into the substrate and not simply printed on the surface, your plaque will never crack or peel away from the slate. Our plaques are weather resistant however, as with all inks and dyes, prolonged exposure to direct sunlight will fade your slate. To ensure you get the most use out of your purchase we recommend that you don't place your plaque in an area with exposure to direct sunlight.
