My patio set originally came with gray cushions. I wanted to have a back-up set of cushions and these were a perfect fit! The backrest pillows are fastened by wrapping around to the backside. The seat bottom cushions have rubber gripping on the underside. Both the backrest and seat cushions have adequate fill, though Im going to add more pollyfill to the backrest cushions since I am short and prefer less seat depth so I believe thickening the backside cushions more will likely help.. This cushion set came well packaged and the cushions are thick. I initially bought it to replace my older and thinner cushions but I didn’t measure correctly and these cushions are too large to fit comfortably. With that being said, that was my error and I give these cushions a five star rating. They came well wrapped, they fluff up nicely after a day or so and are very comfortable. Last year we tried to just do replacement cushions and they only lasted a year before going flat and fading completely. This spring I was shopping for covers since my old cushions were in pretty good shape, just faded, when I saw these and got really excited. Huge amount of colors to choose from and my husband won on choosing this color green instead of the brighter green (which I would’ve preferred), but these are a lovely, true sage green - the kind that is somewhat bright with cool undertones, just like a sage leaf. My photos don’t quite do it justice on the color. The size is perfect, I did measure first. What I’m really thrilled about is the material and the quality of the cushions. The material is a very durable outdoor material, but it feels almost silky to the touch - very smooth, and I can tell you from firsthand experience, pet hair (95 pound lab mix) brushes off very easily. The cushion itself is very thick, thicker than my old cushions, and very firm, which we appreciate because we could feel the slats of the chair in last year’s cushions. The back cushion is softer and very plump. There are two things I don’t love. First is the bottom of the seat cushion has nonslip dots on it, which could be great in some applications, but it keeps me from being able to flip the pillow over as they start to fade, which is common in my central Texas sun. The second is how the ties attach the back pillow to the chair: just one single string about halfway up on each side, not a double string, but I just looped it around the side of the chair and made a bow with itself. Neither of these are dealbreakers in any way, just things that I would’ve preferred the other way. The bottom cushion does have a double tie on each corner to do a regular bow and attach it firmly. The covers are removable, but I haven’t checked the washing instructions or tried to wash them yet. The packaging was very surprising. They all came in one fairly big box, but they were vacuum sealed (flatter than a fritter) but as soon as I opened the seal, they puffed right up almost immediately to full-size. That actually made everything a lot easier both for shipping in for cleaning up shipping materials. I am really really impressed with these replacement seat cushions, and highly recommend them!. The 14 Piece Outdoor Sectional Cushions are an upgrade from the original cushions due to the additional inch of thickness. The pillows tie to the furniture which will be nice when the wind picks up. Came super fast (a few days). I do think it’s actually comfortable. Not plush by any means but not overly stiff. My issue with it is that the color is quite different from the listing.
