The shed was just what we needed. The assembly however was put off six different times as the installation people cancelled on every opportunity. This was very disturbing as the installation would be scheduled, adjustments would be made to be there then it would be cancelled.... this happened SIX different times.. Peter. Olmsted Falls, OH. This horizontal shed is the perfect solution for hiding your unsightly garbage cans and organizing your lawn and garden equipment. The storage space is sufficient for holding up to two – 96-gallon waste containers or it can house other items such as furniture cushions, bicycles, firewood, and gardening supplies. Two front-opening doors along with the top-loading lid allow easy access to your items. Gas shocks assist with a one-handed lift operation and ensure that the lid will stay open while in use. Additionally, this horizontal shed has a soft-close hinge that is designed to prevent the lid from closing too quickly or slamming shut. Constructed of steel-reinforced, multi-wall resin, this durable shed is built to withstand the elements throughout any season.

Use narrow outdoor areas efficiently with the DuraMax SideMate Plus 4 ft. x 8 ft. Vinyl Lean-To Storage Shed. Designed for placement beside a home, fence, or other structure, it provides enclosed storage for garden tools, bicycles, lawn equipment, and seasonal supplies. The reversible door helps adapt access to your layout, reinforced framing adds support, and the included foundation helps create a stable installation.

This worked out well for our needs. Definitely not a one-person assembly job as some pieces either didn't align exactly right or needed someone else to hold pieces together so they could be attached. The holes in the door don't align very well so it's hard to attach a small lock to keep the door from swinging outward. Everything was labeled and the instructions (mostly pictures with directional arrows) were easy to follow enough. If you can assemble Lego sets, the assembly instructions were about the same method. Yes, you need a floor. Do measure the space before buying and cutting (tip - HD will give you one free cut on the giant board. Having it in two pieces makes it much easier to install inside). We also needed a ladder to assemble the roof. It is a bit flimsy though it worked well for us as we installed this in the small space between the house and fence, nestled up against another part of a fence that does not open. That way, we're not worried about it blowing over with heavy winds. [I was incentivized by Wayfair with a monetary reward in exchange for a review]. Diana. San Jose, CA. Thu Apr 23 2026
