It came in two boxes and was easy to assemble in under an hour with good instructions and two people. It is light enough that it can be moved if needed (but easier with 3 people because of the outer bars). It seems very sturdy and well anchored. My kids have been on it every day since assembling and I'm very comfortable with them playing on it. Everything, including the monkey bars, is at a good height for smaller children and I'm not afraid of them falling or getting hurt. I'm 5 foot tall and can easily reach the top. My wife and I assembled this swing set. We're experienced DIYers. It took us two sessions of about 2 hours each for a total of 4 hours. The instructions were generally excellent and we followed them carefully. It's essential to read through these instructions entirely before starting, and to follow them very carefully. Everything fit well with one exception: The plastic pins designed to secure the plastic feet to the ends of the support tubes do not fit correctly. We also broke off one of bolts by over-tightening it. When I called Lifetime about this, they quickly sent replacement bolts and replacement plastic pins for the feet. Yes, it does take some patience and skill to assemble this product, but it's not unreasonable. This is a well-designed and well-made swing set. We're very happy with it so far.. Gordon56. Cary, NC. I absolutely LOVE this swingset! I would highly recommend it. Quality is incredible and it looks beautiful. This comes in 3 large boxes of parts and a slide. It’s a great idea to lay out all of the wood parts organized by letter and I would also encourage you to lay out all of the hardware by number otherwise you end up looking for parts for quite a while. There are tons of pieces but it goes together really well. I used the Bilt app which is also amazing for when the steps aren’t very clear on the paper directions (you can also use the app to look at a 3D model of any step from any angle which is very helpful). I would also recommend having 2 drills or at least an extra drill battery. I worked on this project for about 16 hours total with help from my dad and husband when extra hands were needed.. Lia. So far I am pretty happy with it. It came 1 week quicker than expected. It comes in 2 very long and heavy boxes and 1 slide. I highly recommend laying out and organizing all the parts ahead of time to save time. I built the steps and rock wall in 1 hour and I am having a friend come to help with the fort.i anticipate this part may take 5 or 6 hours max. I also plan to seal it to help prolong the life in upstate NY winters. Should hopefully be years of fun for my 1 year old and 3 year old. Sorry dad you are too bigheavy to enjoy! Max is 150lbs..
