I am using this on my deck. Inside a large pot on a post. I will be planting a climbing vine in the pot. It is beautiful. It was a bit of a crafting project, but it turned out very nice. This pier mount post will work great anchored to my patio. I had to purchase a masonry drill bit and wedge anchors. I’m installing a 3” post with a solar light. The fit is very tight, but that is what I need as there are no holes to secure the post with screws. I used a little WD-40 to get it to go in.
