Why didnt I buy this shade sail earlier I cannot believe how much it has cooled our pool and how much more comfortable we are when we are outside. We have not had high winds nor had rain yet since putting it up, but it is a loose weave that should allow it to filter through and not have pooling or stretching. I absolutely love this awning. It’s exactly what I was looking for. It is very well priced and looks very pretty. Sorry for the delayed review, but I did need to hire someone to install it. The assembly and install were a little challenging, even for a master electrician. It wasn't the level of difficulty but rather very vague instructions and more than one incorrect picture. However, we prevailed. Warning: DO NOT remove the tape and zip ties from the arms of the hardware. They are spring-loaded and should not be released until the awning has been hung. Otherwise, it'll be like trying to put a cat in a bucket of water. (we were smart about this) To assemble, have a helper on standby to pull the awning through the roller channel while someone else pushes it. A kid can help with this part. One person can assemble the main hardware. To install the brackets to the home, one person is fine as long as they have the correct drill bits and measure correctly. The brackets are great quality; however, they may not sit flush and level to the wall. We placed 2x2 blocks of wood behind each bracket to fill the empty space and make the install strong and level. To install the awning, you'll want a strong teen or adult to assist. They will need to hold one side of the awning and the hardware while standing on a ladder, as both people insert the hardware into the brackets on the structure.. Anonymous. Fri Aug 28 2026

The awning is very nice well made just installed Mother’s Day 2026 . The only issue we had the instructions were very vague not clear enough.
