The chairs are smooth and a nice teak color. Very pretty. My debate/issue is comfort. My back is far from reaching the back of this chair. This 5-piece dining set instantly creates the perfect outdoor space for gathering family and friends. The set includes four all-weather rope stacking chairs and one round table. Overall very pretty and sturdy. I am grateful I hired the delivery people to put it together. The cement top is very heavy. I had a concern with one top bolt not same amount tightened but all seems to be secure. I like that there is a cover for the umbrella opening. And perhaps it’s my uneven patio causing the issue. The only other item that was different is the color of the top is a lot darker than what was shown in the pictures. Very dark gray. It works but preference was the lighter gray as shown.
