This chair is very comfortable and a delight. Assembly really requires prior experience with schematics and understanding basic aspects of hardware. However, as the pics show, the upper/seat section is out of alignment with the lower/base portion; it's pushed to one side. That results in the upper frame knocking against the rear black glide "dog bone" part. I don't understand what would cause this skewing. I kept all fasteners not-tight until everything was assembled. For me, I'll have to give it a black matte spray paint makeover so it will match the bench. No problem. It was easily assembled, with everything supplied to do so. Easy~Peasy! So far, my cat, Inspector Gadget, has not made it onto the Rocking Chair, but I'm holding out for a Kodak Moment ;). These are some heavy duty patio chairs. They are extremely comfortable and I love that they swivel and rock.
