We recently purchased the 10’ x 20’ Mirador pergola from Wayfair, and it has been such a great addition to our backyard. We had been considering this setup for a couple of years, and after a windstorm took out our old canopy, it felt like the right time—and we’re so glad we made the move. The adjustable louvers are a standout feature. We can control the amount of sunlight easily, and it’s even functional in the rain since the water channels off to the sides. It makes our patio space much more usable in all kinds of weather. The modern design looks fantastic and fits our space perfectly. We went with the steel version for the price point, and it feels sturdy and well-built. With a few extra hands, assembly was very manageable. Everything arrived well-packaged in four boxes, all in great condition, and the delivery team was excellent—they even placed everything under our carport as requested. Delighted! I received the pergola quickly! It was shipped in 4 different boxes and the packaging was awesome! No damaged pieces! Great price and fits my needs. Well, I have now assembled the pergola and did have some damaged pieces (see pictures) I don’t think these pieces were damaged in shipping… seems like they may have come that way from the manufacturer. In any event, I am still happy with the end result. Assembly would be a bit easier with some written instructions to accompany the photos but with patience we were able to figure it out. As an avid DIYer, I know the difference between good and bad products. This motorized blind is high quality. Everything from the fabric and housing quality to the ease of installation make this a great choice. Unfortunately, our primary reason for purchasing this was for privacy in the evening, as our deck opens up to community courts and gathering space. As it’s getting dark in the evening, and the lights are on in our kitchenfamily room, you can see everything in our home almost as clearly as if the shade were not in place. Also, my home is fully automated with Alexa control. I have two universal RF hubs (Bond Bridge Pro and Toyanc IRRF transmitter) for home automation, and for some reason, both accepted the programming frequency of the remote (433.92 MHz), but neither would transmit the right codes.
