It would be great if there were upgraded cushions with at least something to attach them to the Ratan backs. If this was done on the bottom cushions I believe it would help with the backs as well.. The coloring of this patio set is just what I wanted. It’s a dark walnut color that I absolutely love. I have to take away one star because of how hard to assemble this was. The instructions are fine to understand if you just read pictures, however the space to screw in the screws sometimes gets covered up by the rattan cords and makes it difficult to screw in.. This is definitely a nice set. The star of the show is the wicker. It’s pretty of course but also very nice quality with a nice pliability. It doesn’t look or feel cheap and plastic-y like some wicker (real and fake). 2 minor points that made me take off a star the first is that the back cushions, while comfortable, fall downblow away with high wind... a bit more so than other sets I’ve had. I may try to find a solution with either sewing or Velcro or something like that. The second point, and I more or less knew this going into the purchase, is that the backs are low. We’re all fairly small, and it’s still quite comfortable.
