This LED lamp is really cool with an updated 70s novelty vibe! For the holidays, its been situated outside within my Wayfair gazebo on my front porch for a more festive look and extra light, (that is, when the temperature is not too much below freezing). Its very lightweight and easy to carry, Everyone that has seen it loves it! It would work great in a childs room as a nightlight or reading source and conveniently shuts off when the battery is low. Personally, I charge it when I go to bed and its fully charged and ready to go the following morning. You could also charge it during the day to ensure a fully charged battery at night. It was delivered professionally and quickly. There was no assembly needed, only a bit of a charge for many hours of enjoyment on the first night. Ill be using this to light the back deck by my hot tub as well. Update 425 After the holidays, this lamp got a nice rest. After charging overnight to use outdoors, the lamp shut off within 20 minutes. Just opened box, definitely much higher quality than I expected. Charging for first time,it suggests for max battery and life to charge for 8 hours before first use so I haven’t seen on yet but its illuminated red at the bottom where it’s plugged in which is bright so I can only imagine the beauty of its glow when I can turn it on. These were quickly delivered. I really enjoy the length of the lights as well. The color is perfect. Give just enough evening mood lighting but not making it over bearable.
