The stainless steel top gives me a dedicated prep area right next to the grills, which makes cooking much more organized and convenient. The open shelf is perfect for frequently used items, while the storage cabinet underneath keeps seasonings, oils, grilling tools, napkins, gloves, and other accessories neatly tucked away and protected from the weather. I also really like the thoughtful extras. The built in bottle opener is something I didn’t know I needed until I started using it. The side handles are useful when moving the cart around, and the locking wheels make it easy to position exactly where I want it while keeping it stable during use. The weather resistant construction has held up well outdoors, and the stainless steel top is easy to wipe down after cooking. Visually, it fits my outdoor setup perfectly. Love it. The only issue I have it’s with the wood. Yes it is very light weight wood. It serves the purpose for what I want to do with it and use it as a prep side table for when I’m BBQ’ing and I need space to place my tools and plates etc. I know it says it will hold 400lbs. I trusted her and got what I wanted. Delivery: First it was to be delivered on Friday, then Saturday and finally the next business day. I assumed that would be Monday. Lucky for me it was Sunday. The assembly directions were a 2 on a scale of 1 to 5. The product was barely ok. There were imperfections in the finish. I wonder if it had been returned as the shipping box really looked tough.. I like the overall concept of the Outdoor Kitchen Island BBQ Prep Station, but the setup process needs serious improvement. The instructions are tough to follow. Expect some trial and error. This is not a solo job. There are a lot of pieces, so plan for two people and a few hours. One issue that stood out. The product images show a Blackstone griddle setup, but the grommet placement doesn’t line up well if you’re running a propane attachment. I had to drill my own hole to avoid putting tension on the hose. That shouldn’t be necessary. I haven’t added my Big Green Egg yet. Before I do, I’m considering reinforcing the base with additional wood just to be safe. It looks solid, but that’s a lot of weight. All in, it took about 6 hours to get everything assembled.
