This is a fabulous addition for a cover on our side porch. It was a challenge to put it together, but We completed the task in a day with just 2 people. The quality of this "iron" gazebo is pretty disappointing. It feels like aluminum and the panels are plastic and are scratched looking put of the box. There is discoloration on one of the panels. Maybe from being in the sun? I am not sure exactly it appears whiteish on the gray panel. Not great since it is meant to be outside. Some of the parts that are metal are bent and scratched. The assembly instructions are awful as well. I have an event in a few days that I purchased this for so hopefully it will come together and not look absolutely cheap and rickety once it is fully assembled. This took two people almost 8 hours to put together. The directions are fairly clear however it is recommended to read the directions entirely or at least 3 steps ahead before each step. The hardware is not magnetic, with an application like this that is something that is almost necessary. The DD (most commonly used) screw heads were mostly faulty and stripped very easily. Time was added to assembly because of faulty hardware issues. There are three phases, after the first phase it does become a little quicker. The first phase is the frame and takes some engineering. DO NOT TIGHTEN THE BOLTS until the end of each step. I chose this item for a carport as shown in the photos. It is recommended to use three people although it will not reduce the amount of time that it took to put it together but will make it easier when putting the 2 ends together will the top rails. The end product is very nice, maybe allow 2 days to complete with less frustration and make sure you have some shade. also, wait to unwrap the panels until installing them - they scratch very easily and can bend out of shape if not handled correctly. The good: We bought the 14x10 and it is heavy duty. I haven't fixed it to my deck yet, but I doubt that would even be necessary because it's heavy and sturdy. It gets 4 stars because I'm confident it will serve its purpose for a long time. The bad: I can't give it 5 stars because assembly was difficult, even with 2 people in their 30s. It took us a total of around 10-12 hours over a few days. When assembling the large/heavy support beams, you will probably need to have some kind of supporting table or shelf to lean them on (or have a person hold a large piece while someone affixes it to another) to prevent bending. You'll also need at least one step ladder and a Phillips head screwdriver, which the description fails to mention and isn't included. Assembly you will need 3 people to help lift the frame, the rest of the time I was able to do everything by myself, the directions are clear and easy to follow, just don’t assume you know what’s next and put in all the screws, it all turned out looking amazing and I recommend using some magnetic hooks for lighting and hiding wires. There were three people putting up the gazebo and it took about five hours. It did fit together very well and instructions are ok. There is a mistake in the manual. There are 8 G1 parts, not 4 which it says on page 10. Also the picture of G1 on page 6 and 10 is incorrect. There are 2 pictures of G1 on page 10 and the other picture is correct. I put the curtains on and we didn’t quite understand how the Velcro tabs should go so that added time. After a few days I took the curtains down as I don’t think we will ever close them.
