This was simple to install. They try to make it easy to install by yourself but I required help lifting this up the ladder from my husband. I had difficulty placing all the items in screw it all up so you have to find the perfect positioning to make it work. We really like that it comes with a remote. We also had to change out our dimmer to a regular switch because it’s messes with light and makes it flicker but that’s what the remote is for. One thing I’m not so sure about is the LED. I had an electrician install it, so I can't speak to the ease of install. The ceiling fan came very well packaged. It is in a lot of pieces though and would have to be assembled before it could be installed by an electrician. The fan blades feel like cheap plastic, however, the rest of it is solid metal. Everything that you need for this is in the box with the van. It looks nice.
