Maybe this would work but has to be on a door that’s close to the floor. My door had a greater gap and I couldn’t use this. So check measurements before you buy.. Anna. Long Grove. Sun Oct 11 2026

Weight is the entire job of a doorstop, and this one handles it while looking like something you chose rather than something you needed. A soft loop on top doubles as a handle, so moving it between rooms takes one hand. Its compact cube sits quietly at a hallway door or beside a living room entry.

I bought this to prevent a kitchen door knob from flying into a sliding glass window. This is the only one that I could find with the correct height. It’s heavy duty and very nice. It’s pricey but it was cheaper than buying a replacement window. Highly recommend.. Pamela. Wadsworth, IL. Wed May 22 2024

Meet the door stopper with personality. This weighted dog settles at the base of any interior door and holds it open, so rooms stay connected for airflow, pet access, and easy movement. A sand-filled body gives it the heft to stay put on wood, tile, or laminate, while the woven boucle shell, contrast ears, and black button nose give it a soft, handmade charm. There is nothing to install and nothing to mount. Set it down where you need it and move it from the bedroom to the office to a living room or hallway. It works as a year-round character accent that quietly does a job. Available in taupe and cream. Spot clean as needed to keep the shell looking fresh.

Professional grade quality, genuine die cast solid brass, and superior finish defines this medium size "gooseneck" floor mounted door stop. With a height of and a base that is, this is an ideal door stop for doors that are bigger, heavier, and where high clearance is needed, such as for carpeted floors. Installed to prevent the door handle/lever/knob from damaging the wall, this stop is equipped with fasteners for both wood and cement floor installations. Install all floor mounted door stops as close to the wall as possible to minimize tripping hazard. These "gooseneck" style doors stop also come in a smaller model, as well as one that is bigger.

Perfect for our new front door. Sleek and modern. Easy to install. Anonymous. Mon Jan 01 2024

I bought and installed three of these Baldwin Gooseneck Bumper Floor Stops to use in preventing three custom made heavy steel doors from slamming into the adjacent walls. I was very pleased with the simplicity and heft of these floor stops, but have two observations prospective future buyers should take into account. One is the item is only 2 inches tall. This might be sufficiently high for a standard interior door, but the bottom of many exterior doors will be too tall for such a short stop because they are made to fit over high thresholds with deep door shoes for improved weather resistance. I had to raise the height of the stops 1/2 inch using plastic shims shaped and drilled to be compatible with the stops. The second observation is that the installation is not so easy if you want to install them on a concrete floor. I compliment Baldwin for providing all the necessary hardware to install on both wood and concrete floors, however, for concrete floors you will need a hammer drill, specialty 1/2-inch and 5/8-inch concrete bits (probably SDS bits), and more than the ordinary amount of experience and ability with the installation of concrete wedge anchors. Unfortunately, Baldwin does not provide any installation instructions, either in the box or on their website. I will say that I'm happy with the product, now that I have them installed - solid and sturdy.. Anonymous. Overton, NV. Mon Nov 13 2017
