Concrete brings a raw, quietly industrial weight to a shelf, and rolling it into a sphere softens that edge just enough. Its surface keeps the fine texture of the mold, so it reads as material first and object second. Heavy enough to stay exactly where you set it, on a console, a hearth or a stack of art books.

All bench/table legs and statuary should be raised up off the ground in winter so they will not freeze on the ground surface. Items that have areas that pool water should be wrapped with burlap or any absorbent material (old blanket/towel) and then wrapped with dark plastic, making sure that water does not accumulate and freeze.

I used this as a base to a water fountain in my garden. It lifted the fountains height plus it brought out a good look to it. I highly appreciate it and would recommend it for your garden needs. It’s nice even when it rains and the garden gets full of water keep your statue or fountain safe from green moss or algae.. Caroline. Sugar Land, TX. Wed May 11 2022

Lava stone carries the pitted, porous surface it got from cooling fast, and that texture is the entire appeal of this small sphere. It fits in a palm, which makes it good in a bowl with other objects or alone on a stack of books. Its density keeps it steady on a surface, so it holds its place in a grouping.

looks good but a lot smaller than i imagined. Anonymous. Sun May 31 2026

Wow!!! Fast delivery and no damage. I needed something to cover an ugly green septic cover X 2. Found itthem!! My green septic covers are 28in round. This fit perfectly with even a little extra space. It’s the taller one, 15in. I’m so pleased with the color, the look and the simplicity of installation. It’s light enough to carry but heavy enough for winds. I did use the included stakes. I bought the other different size cover from the same company and very pleased with that one as well.. Carla.
