I searched through a ton of listings for 4- to 5-foot topiaries and trees, trying to find something that would look realistic enough for our front deck, where real trees and shrubs aren’t happy. This is definitely more of a cedar tree look than a cypress, but it actually looks pretty realistic in person. If you get up close, you can see how plastic the needles are, but at least they are molded and closer to the shape of actual cedar needles than your classic bottle-brush fake Christmas tree. They have that rubbery, real-touch feel, so we will have to see how well they stand up to dust and the elements—I have a feeling they are going to be hard to keep clean. The trees arrive in multiple sections, but it isn’t that hard to fluff them out so they look more natural.. Carrie. Grass Valley, CA. Wed Oct 07 2026

I really love that this 45 in Fern comes as a set of two! These Ferns look pretty realistic and bring (pretend) life back to my planters this fall. It does take a bit of work to fluff them out. I was a little bummed as I expected they would come more like an established plant in a pot, but actually the fern is all attached but has a larger stem you’ll have to put in foam or some other stabilizer.. Poor packaging. The stem had poked though the vinyl envelope and was bent. When I opened the pkg, two stems were broken off. I was afraid more would fall off if I tried to 'fluff' the plant. The artificial plant material looks very nice, I would have liked it. As it was fairly expensive, I'll try to return it.. Sharon. Port St. Lucie, FL. Sun Mar 27 2022
