The fan works great & the light is a cool added touch! It can get pretty bright, enough to light up the whole 14 x 20 gazebo we have it under. Thinking about taking down the string lights we also have under the gazebo, since the fanlight is so bright & adjustable. May have to get another fan just to move the air around a little better. This fan is very pleasing to look at utilizing prime wood for the blades. It was not very difficult to install on our back porch the height and space we had was restricted so we had to modify the drop down tube by cutting it off and redrilling the bolt holes.
