It was a quick set up,came with a booklet for easy instructions and also the hardware needed to hang the outdoor fan.This fan has a light with different settings and colors, the fan panels are two different color black and brown.I went with the black looks way better,the remote also controls the fan speeds and timer which is great.. I love this outdoor fan! The blades look nice even though they are plastic, which helps make it light weight. It has good air circulation which is perfect for our porch since we get a hardy dose of afternoon sun. It also give our a good bit of light.
