It would definitely be easier for 2 people to assemble but it is possible for 1. Took me about 8 hours over a 3 day weekend to complete. Works well for my dog. My only suggestion is when attaching the top, do it from the inside, much easier that way.. Anonymous. Mon Sep 28 2026

It definitely is a two person job. We put it together on a paved area before moving it to the grass. It’s sturdy and my favorite part is the door latches my second favorite part is that the roof covers down the sides. Everything seems very durable and we even had a storm blow through today and there were no issues plus my chickens love it.. M Sembera. Sun Sep 13 2026

Sturdy but there seems to be millions of parts, screws and nuts with not great instructions. I put together but myself but would of been easier with 2 people. Quality looks good but will need to use zip ties eventually to replace the ties for the roof. Very disappointed that it went on sale right after I purchased and Wayfair does not refund difference.. I really like this run! If you don’t over stretchpull the chicken wire, you can get it nice and taught without waves and sags. I cut the chicken wire in 21 foot lengths, so that there was plenty on the outside bottom for cinder blocks or something to weight everything down. I put the entire thing together by myself. 5’1” woman. So, you can do it too!. Amber. Hampton Bays, NY. Mon Aug 17 2026

With its weatherproof cover roof, this playpen is a great addition to your garden or backyard, providing a safe space for sunbathing. The flat-bottom construction and latch door closure gives it some extra stability and security for your pets.

I absolutely love this catio cat run and my cats are enjoying getting to be outside in the grass! I also purchased the two story heatedinsulated cat house and it fits perfectly inside. (I assembled it from inside the cat run so that I would not have trouble fitting it through the door.) The only problem I had was that some of the instructions for assembling the cat run were incorrect, but it wasn’t hard to figure out how to remedy the correction. I would also recommend using extra screws to secure the bridge, part N, to the other part N, beside it.The instructions said to build the cat boxes in the uncovered area of the cat run, but I will most likely be moving them to the covered area. Also, the instructions say it only takes 2 hours to assemble and it took us several hours to assemble. We used a Dewalt drill to assemble and I recommend this vs. only using a screw driver.. Our coops are constructed with rust-resistant and durable steel, ensuring they can withstand years of use and exposure to the elements. The plastic-coated hexagonal mesh provides optimal ventilation and keeps even the most determined predators out. Our coops also feature lockable doors, so you can rest easy knowing that your chickens are safe and secure at all times.

Instructions were very easy to follow. I love this idea and it fits perfectly for where we needed it. I question the durability though. I also am not a fan of the fencing used. It tears easily as it’s not hardware cloth. Any predator could easily get through this. We do plan to reinforce it soon, as winter approaches. If we didn’t have a fully fenced in yard, I would immediately reinforce the fencing. We have 12 chickens right now and they have plenty of space.. Ashley. NY. Tue Sep 01 2026

The patented Dog Proofer fence extension system is the most effective solution available today for modifying existing fencing to stop larger animals such as dogs, coyotes, foxes, etc. from climbing and/or jumping over a fence. They fence extensions allow you to add up 2 feet of additional height to your existing fence made from wood, chain link, brick, block, vinyl/pvc, or metal. In addition, they proprietary design is custom engineered to to force your dog (or intruder animal) to climb the fence. Once they reach the edge of the arm, they are unable to plant their back feet (which is how these animals derive their strength to climb) which makes them dangle for a time before giving up and falling back to the ground.  Dogs and large predators alike do not have the front leg muscles to pull their weight vertically without the use of their hind legs. Kit includes components to outfit approximately 100 linear feet of fencing. The number of corners and gates may require additional components. (1) 4' x 100' Galvanized and pvc coated welded wire mesh (12) Galvanized and powder coated houdini-proof dog fence extension arms (2) 120lb Test heavy duty black zip ties - bag (100) No fasteners to hold fence extenders to posts are included due to the wide variety of fencing types and materials.

Update after 2 weeks it is already warped and falling apart in areas. I’m beyond disappointed. I bought two with the two tunnels to connect. . Theres were for three outside cats I feed at work. They are already warped and pieces broke easily. My son put up a frame around doors because the opening was large enough for the cats to possibly break through. He also took the ladders out because they broke and had stapes out to hurt the cats he put hammocks in instead. I wish I got a more expensive one instead of two of these.
