This table and chairs have held up very well. We have left it outside in the Chicago brutal weather for a few years now, and it's done well. I would give this table 5 stars for sturdiness and looks. But it did come damaged as several others have said. I will say it is a heavy table. Not sure if damaged in transit because of this. Because the porch we have it on is just a eating section that needs a smaller table most of the time. It will need to be on a covered porch to keep it nice. Put the whole thing together in around two hours by myself. Power tool is definitely recommended to make the job faster and easier. I saw that there was a comment about the product not weathering well or fading quickly. The wood does look stained, but mostly untreated. I got tung oil and limonene solvent to treat the wood and weather-proof it. That doesn’t seem to be unreasonable given how economical the set is.
