He added a water repellent seal to help make it more protected from the elements. It's the perfect height (30"), length (48"), and depth (15"), and has a pretty espresso finish. This table is a substantial piece of furniture and it exceeded my expectations. The wood frame is solid and the table top is solid marble. Assembly is quick and very easy. It took me under 20 minutes to unpack and assemble it. The table is heavy - It looks and feels expensive. The marble is white and the veining both grey and warm tan.
