All bench/table legs and statuary should be raised up off the ground in winter so they will not freeze on the ground surface. Items that have areas that pool water should be wrapped with burlap or any absorbent material (old blanket/towel) and then wrapped with dark plastic, making sure that water does not accumulate and freeze.

I used this as a base to a water fountain in my garden. It lifted the fountains height plus it brought out a good look to it. I highly appreciate it and would recommend it for your garden needs.
