The lighthouse birdhouse is a spot-on replica of the famous located at the easternmost point of Long Island, New York. The construction of the lighthouse was authorized by none other than President George Washington and bears the distinction of being the first public works project of the United States. The (in) famous pirate Captain Kidd is said to have buried treasure at the foot of the lighthouse, but it's yet to be found. I have tall ceilings so the only part the bed covered was where the steps change color down. have cardboard and has the stand attached so if I were to change where I wanted I am still able to stand alone and not have to store the stand until them.. I just received this Aubree Replica Lighthouse delivery. It is so well made, sturdy and heavy, the paint job is flawless, the details on it add to make it a true work of art.
