This outdoor clock with thermometer is really cute and adds a great decorative touch to our pool area. However, the biggest disappointment came after opening it and reading the instructions—it specifically says not to expose it to direct sunlight. The outdoor clock-thermometer arrived in good condition as scheduled. The instructions are confusing. The instructions indicate that the clock's hands need to be removed and replaced to remove and discard a packaging/security part. This was apparently done at the factory. The clock is keeping good time without any "assembly." The instructions about initializing the thermometer are not clear, but turning the knob on the back seems to perform the necessary function. The item is attractive and functions well so far. We are disappointed that the numbers are about the same color as the face. If they were a different color (like the hands) it would be easier to see the time. The scale on the thermometer is compact, and the numbers are the same color as the face. So, it is difficult to tell the difference between 30 and 40 degrees (for example). HAD WE KNOWN THESE THINGS FROM THE PRESENTATION ON THE WEB, WE WOULD HAVE SEARCHED FOR A BETTER CLOCK-THERMOMETER. Great way to keep up with the weather. I purchased the Wireless Wifi Professional Weather Station with Remote Monitoring by La Crosse Technology. It was delivered quickly and in perfect condition. I love the large lighted digital screen. It is easy to read at just a glance. In one look you can see up to date weather information including the current temperature and humidity both indoors and outside, along with a feels like temperature for outdoor. You can see current wind speed as well as top wind speed in the past hour and 24 hours, and the barometric pressure in your area too. The display also includes the Day of the week, Time, and Month Day and Year. High/Low temperatures are also displayed above the cute graphic of the days weather. I did add a rain guage sensor which was super simple to connect. As far as the price…Wayfair had the best price I have seen. It’s a Great price for this item. I definitely would recommend the Lacrosse weather station. My only issue is with connecting it to the internet. I have not been able to get it to connect.
