The cushions are a little thin, so we added a memory foam mattress to the top of it and then use a sheet to cover it and keep it outside to really make it like an outdoor bed. The cushions are stylishly covered with waterproof fabric upholstery and supported by a steel frame to create 2 dual adjustable sunbeds from either side. The whole bed is mounted on wood feet. The canopy curtain tie-backs are excellent for providing privacy or shade on hot sunny days.

Structure is sturdy. Assembly was fairly easy with a second person. The protective cushion provided is a good addition.
