This chair is very comfortable and a delight. Assembly really requires prior experience with schematics and understanding basic aspects of hardware. However, as the pics show, the upper/seat section is out of alignment with the lower/base portion; it's pushed to one side. That results in the upper frame knocking against the rear black glide "dog bone" part. I don't understand what would cause this skewing. I kept all fasteners not-tight until everything was assembled. OMG I’m in love with these chairs. They came already assembled. All you have to do is tie the super comfy cushion on, put on the headrest, the footrest and your cup holder and enjoy!!
