These are in the style of a Roman shade, which is a nice concept for covering the glass panel in French Doors. They are magnetic, so easy to position up or drop down. However, instead of some type of metal or sturdy resin material, the “rod” inserts at the back of the shade are cheap plastic tubes which do not fit tightly enough or stay together very well— when inserting to the back of the curtain, the sections come apart. There are several colors to choose from, and the material is lightweight, but blocks even the strong sunlight we have in the desert. Let me start by saying that these are VERY nice privacy screens! They came quickly and were packaged very well. The color is stunning and they are HEAVY. I expect them to last for a VERY long time. However, if you live anywhere that has wind or sand for your ground, then the stakes that are sent with it are grossly inadequate! We live in Florida and we have only sand and LOTS of wind. So, we had to go buy rebar and bolts/screws to make sure they stayed in the ground. I spent an additional 30.00 to make it work. Also, please note that in the instructions it tells you to use "screw H" but there is no "H". Go through the list of items in front of the instruction booklet before starting to assemble so that you can make sure you know which pieces are which. There are also over 60 screws to put in, so a small drill or socket wrench will save you a LOT of time and trouble. These are exactly as described! The track glides smoothly Panels stack neatly to one side when fully open, taking up minimal (24”) space. The semi-sheer fabric drapes well and doesn’t look cheap despite being cut to size. I had to cut twice after hanging the track but overall these were very easy to install. Recommend.
