Unfortunately, they were too wide so we had to mount them on the outside of the frame. Also, just note that the fabric is about an inch short in width than the metal roller. These are in the style of a Roman shade, which is a nice concept for covering the glass panel in French Doors. They are magnetic, so easy to position up or drop down. However, instead of some type of metal or sturdy resin material, the “rod” inserts at the back of the shade are cheap plastic tubes which do not fit tightly enough or stay together very well— when inserting to the back of the curtain, the sections come apart. There are several colors to choose from, and the material is lightweight, but blocks even the strong sunlight we have in the desert. I was happy to find these shades for our patio. Hadn't had much luck except to order custom made at three times the price! I wish these were offered in shorter lengths....96 x 96 is 3 feet longer than the openings on my patio, but we can unroll them to the floor at almost 8 feet, or just leave them at the top of our brick wall and have extra fabric on the roll. Super nice shade. I love it. Color is light gray, perfect - not white, not gray. I bought it for privacy and I can see out, but one can only see shadows looking in. I had to hang the shade on a metal structure so the hardware included didn't work but my great handyman used metal screws and made it work. A suggestion, there is only one set of hooks for the bungee cord so I bought an additional set from the local OSH to hold the shade at an additional height. They didn't have matching hooks but found some that look nice and work. If you have any wind you will want the hooks to keep the shade from flapping. Would definitely buy another.. Anonymous. As an avid DIYer, I know the difference between good and bad products. This motorized blind is high quality. Everything from the fabric and housing quality to the ease of installation make this a great choice. Unfortunately, our primary reason for purchasing this was for privacy in the evening, as our deck opens up to community courts and gathering space. As it’s getting dark in the evening, and the lights are on in our kitchenfamily room, you can see everything in our home almost as clearly as if the shade were not in place. Also, my home is fully automated with Alexa control. I have two universal RF hubs (Bond Bridge Pro and Toyanc IRRF transmitter) for home automation, and for some reason, both accepted the programming frequency of the remote (433.92 MHz), but neither would transmit the right codes.
