Easy to put together by myself. Took me about 35 minutes. Some of the metal to metal holes didn’t line up but all the other holes were pretty close enough to use the sharp screws. Haven’t bolted them to the porch floor yet so cannot review how well these stand up to high winds. Had a very strong urea smell so glad these are outside and not inside. Love these! Perfect for my 9 foot ceilings! I used a multi tool to cut them where I needed and it worked well. The first package I received had cracks in them (easy to see why they crack as they are long boxes and if picked up on the ends, the stress would make the wood crack) and I got on the phone and provided photos of the damage, and a new box was sent at no charge. I kept the old ones which I used elsewhere, just shorter areas so the cracks didn’t matter. Great customer service and a two day replacement! Love the look. Purchased the teak color. Carpenter says it’s a great product. Does not come with anything but siding pieces. Carpenter watched video on how to install-very helpful. Cuts easily with an electric saw. Nice clean edges. Very heavy. Ridges are hollow so we installed a ledge above and below siding so that insects could not get in and make nests. We had some exposed screws due to were the edge of siding ended in project. Did a paint match and painted tops of screws. Very happy with results. I could not have installed this siding. These are great! They sent one incorrect color in the box. Shipping was a total disaster though. FedEx would not deliver to my office door. They would only leave it at the front door of the building I am in. So I had to hire help to get these huge boxes upstairs to my space. But now that the space is done, they look good.
