We needed it for a very wide opening and it fits, but just barely. When it gets expanded that wide it gets a little wobbly, but can see that it would work better with a slightly more narrow opening.. Ellen. St. Louis, MO. Wed May 20 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This gate works perfectly for my stairs! To open the door there’s a double security with moving the latch and then lifting the gate up. This provides great safety for toddlers/kids. The install was also easy, followed directions and didn’t need any other items.. Brittney. Atlanta, GA. Wed Sep 18 2024

This 36-inch extra tall baby gate is designed for toddler safety and pet separation. With an adjustable width and a small pet door, it provides easy access for cats while keeping larger pets secure. Perfect for doorways, stairs, and hallways, this gate combines safety and convenience in a sleek, compact design.

This gate is PERFECT! It's tall enough to keep the dogs out of the cat area, but just short enough we can still close the door to the room (lever door knob). The adjustable cat door is great and I love that it raises up and down rather than swinging out. I love that this gate door swings both ways since our cat box and food are in our mudroom, which gets used frequently. Installation took all of 5 minutes and I love that both expanders were included, so we could get the perfect fit. The lever is also easy to use. You squeeze the top and bottom buttons and lift a bit. 10/10 highly recommend!. Dustin. Rockfield, KY. Fri Jun 26 2026

The safety gate will be your children's safety guardian, liberating your hands by keeping your children in a safe place. 27.5-43" No Bottom Bar Dog Pet Gate for Stairs, House and Doorways, Auto Close Safety Pet Gates with Large Walk Thru Door. Mounting Type: Wall Mount.

One of our favorite gates ever—highly recommend! We have been through a TON of gates over the years, mostly when our kids were small, but recently we needed a new one to keep our puppy safe. This might honestly be one of my favorites yet. A few things that make it stand out Super easy to install My husband had it up and ready to go in no time. Auto-close feature It closes on its own perfectly, which is a massive lifesaver when youre busy or rushing through. Fantastic value It feels incredibly solid and well-made, especially given the price point. For comparison, our other gate (which weve had for a long time and still use for our puppy elsewhere) was easily 2 to 3 times more expensive than this one, yet it doesnt even have an auto-close feature. You really dont need to overspend to get a great, high-quality gate. This one is excellent!. Sara. OH. Tue Jul 07 2026
