This beautiful off-white ottoman is a neutral, solid piece with a tufted lid that can be switched around for a wood top to set magazines or drinks on. Storage space is generous. The wood top looks nice but the lid is pretty heavy to be switching it around constantly. I'm not sure if the wood top was supposed to be attached to the lid but it was loose and the wood top doesn't sit as securely into the lid as it could. I really like this ottoman. The quality, color, mobility and storage capability is great and works very well for my space. The wood top is nice, high quality wood. However, on the flat side (wood top can be flipped and used as a flat top or cupped with a rim) there's a few weird square markings. (could be a one off) I've liked using the cupped side more though so not a big deal to me. I know it says it's not supposed to be used as a seat but the wood top is definitely strong enough. At least for lighter people. I'm very light (130lb) but I feel it could handle someone a lot heavier. (But do at your own risk!) Installing the casters is quick and easy. (Use the long side of the hex wrench until the bolts get hard to turn) I'm not sure how the casters roll on differnet carpets but it's great on my hardwood floor. . .
