I'm thinking of replacing my other fans with this brand. I thought I liked the oscillating type until I bought this one. I like the setup, fan blades. It seems to reach out further and is more efficient. I have it 11 foot away and it is so nice. I don't want air blowing in my face so I think its pretty perfect for me. I'm thin and I keep it far from me but I can feel the soft breeze.. Patrice. Roseburg, OR. Sun Oct 18 2020

This ceiling fan is perfect for us. The room has sloped ceilings. I have been looking for a ceiling fan that would fit this space for years. For it's compact size this ceiling fan really moves the air nicely. Please note it is heavy, my husband had to add extra support in the ceiling. STRATA is what happens when Vornado reimagines cooling airflow from the ground up. When it comes to velocity, STRATA is Vornado’s highest performing fan, ever. Period. True to form, Vornado took the traditional approach to blower design and molded it into our vision for powerful air movement in a remarkably thin profile. STRATA harvests the coolest air near the ground and draws it upwards - where you can actually enjoy it. A user-selectable 90º or 180º oscillation range creates a satisfying, sweeping panoramic airflow experience. On low speed, STRATA registers below 32db, making it quieter than the standard interior space.
