Very comfy chair! This one is a bit wider than the other (similar) option I found online which gives it a comfy vibe. It’s low to the ground, and the chair is really recline-y, but that’s part of what makes it comfortable. Love that it swivels around so that my husband can face different directions in his office.. Two things, both important: #1. I LOVE this chair. It's gorgeous, very high quality, and butter-soft. One day-- a long time from now, I hope-- I just may ask to be propped up in it, my feet resting on an equally lovely stool (TBD) as I await my great reward. #2. Assembly is NOT easy, nor even possible for a single person, unless they have a third arm or a very precise robot. A second person is required-- one with patience, emotional intelligence, and really good eyesight. Tried to do it myself last night for an hour... might have had more success negotiating a bear trap.. Erin. Fryeburg, ME. Tue Aug 04 2026

The design career of Verner Panton reached its first peak toward the end of the 1950s. With a furniture series based on simple geometric shapes, Panton anticipated elements of Pop Art, while also emulating the elegance of Scandinavian Modernism in the execution of the bases. The most famous designs from this series are the Cone Chair and the Heart Cone Chair. The Heart Cone Chair takes its name from its heart-shaped silhouette. The extended wings of the backrest are reminiscent of Mickey Mouse ears, but can also be interpreted as a contemporary development of the classic wingback chair.
