This rug is BEAUTIFUL, and so soft. Purchased it for my first grandbabies nursery here at home, and I am so happy with my decision. I searched months for a carpet that would match the color of her nursery, and this rug did not disappoint. It states that it’s pink in the description, and I believe it is, but I also see peach in it as well. If you are looking for a peach rug…THIS ONE IS IT!! I cannot say enough good things about it. As for padding being needed underneath. In my opinion, it’s good but for others they may want the extra padding.. Kimberly. California. Mon Jun 22 2026

Made with hand-knotted wool, this 2x3 gift-sized vintage Turkish rug originating circa 1950-1960, is a bold new addition to Rug & Kilim’s curation of rare and collectible mid-century rugs of this provenance. On the Design: Admirers of the craft will admire this personal vintage rug meant to catch the eye, yet still so atypical in its color and design choices that are so complementary to each other making it a comfortable, and inviting piece. Pink and beige tones underscore a play of open field and medallion style—particularly a large-scale central medallion, with field spandrels and borders enjoying matching geometric patterns. This traditional design has some resemblance to Oushaks of the past, both in its more feminine colors and its choice of patterns. Keen eyes for detail will love this subversive way to approach an old-world design, while anyone can appreciate its unique classic look, detail, movement and phenomenal range of colors in kind. The overall effect is one of elegant simplicity, where each geometric form flows naturally into the next, creating a timeless piece that bridges classical Turkish carpet design with more contemporary sensibilities.Condition: This vintage Turkish rug has good condition for its age and origin. Its pile has been lowered which gives it the mild element of a distressed, shabby-chich look.
