These visually match our original Melon Bud pieces from 20 years ago with two differences. The first and more important difference is that original sets were 188, and these are 1810. The second and barely discernible difference is while the length of the knife is the same, it has a very slightly different curvature. No one would ever be able to notice these differences on your table (it’s tough to see even with two knives in hand looking for the difference) and the pieces still feel nice in hand, which was the original appeal. Perfect! These match my set exactly and are just what I want. I had a set of flatware but the knives had thick hollow handles. When I got a few new pieces to add to my set the knives were slightly serrated with flatter handles which is much nicer. Now I wanted to replace the other knives with the ones with the flatter handles. These have those handles and the serrated blades. The design is exactly the same as the old ones.
