One Way Mirror Window Film

This one-way heat control privacy window film provides excellent daytime privacy with advanced technology and highly reflective material. With heat insulation, glare reduction, UV-blocking, keeping your home or office cooler, and saving energy for intense summers. Non-adhesive static cling design makes it easy to install and remove and does not hurt your window glass, so it is ideal for both your DIY projects and rental properties. Reflective technology also gives exterior windows a pleasingly uniform, contemporary look. The outside shows silver inside shows the color you choose. Kindly note that the film cannot provide privacy at night. When the inside light is stronger than the outside at night, the mirror reflective effect will disappear. Installation tips: Before installation, please totally clean the window surface and corners to ensure that there is no dust on them. Remember to remove the protective backing film before applying and spray plenty of water onto the glass surface and static cling side of the window film for adhesion(the more water, the better). After installation, please trim the edges and leave enough gaps between the edge of the film and the window to easily squeeze out the air bubbles.

This window tint film only provides good privacy during daytime while the exterior glass shows the mirror effect. When the inside light is stronger than outside, the mirror effect will be reversed. Nighttime privacy is recommended by drawing curtains. By reflecting solar rays away from the window, this film helps keep interiors cool in summer and retains heat in winter, contributing to significant energy bill savings. The film also blocks UV rays, preventing fading of interior furniture due to sun exposure. Easy to apply and remove, the self-adhesive film features a simple removal process: Apply two pieces of tape to both sides of the corners and pull. Ensure a smooth installation by spraying ample water on both the window and film during application. Designed to enhance glass strength, the film also helps reduce potential damage caused by splintering glass fragments.

We got this to set up for spring and summer in the north west. We were told that summers are short but can be very sunny and heat up our home quite a lot. We also love bird watching and wanted a way to keep the birds from seeing us while we watch them. We put it up in less than an hour using soapy water in a spray bottle, a straight edge razor and a squeegee. It’s perfect for what we needed. Time will tell if it keep the house cooler but so far the birds love it and use our window feeders way more now. They can see in at night but during the day inside the house is invisible for them. Makes great birdwatching from the couch possible.. Scarlet. Kirkland, WA. Thu Apr 18 2024

This one-way window film is designed to block heat, reflect UV rays, and reduces glare, keep your home, and office cooler, and save energy for intense summers. Reflective material on the exterior provides privacy protection and a mirror effect during the daytime while maintaining your view of the outside. Before applying, remember to tear off the protective film. (Please stick tape on the film's corner to peel off the clear backing from the film)Spray more soapy water on the glass and surface of the film, the more water, the better, and scrape all the bubbles out with a squeegee. Cut the film from the window frame, pick up a corner at the edge, re-spray and paste, and scrape the bubble.

Not quite as easy to put on the window as I had hoped because after application I did have some bubbles. I have to believe that’s part of the risk that goes along with these decals. However, it is a good solution for privacy on the small pane windows that line our front door. Of course someone can see movement behind them but they can’t see into the house with any clarity. Did arrive quickly and in good packaging and was heavy duty!. Leah. Maryland. Thu Apr 15 2021
