I was especially happy with how well it works with my area rug and accent pillows. Assembly was very easy and straightforward. I was able to get it put together without any trouble, and once assembled, it feels sturdy for a smaller, basic sofa. The wooden legs are also a nice touch and give it a more finished, mid-century look. This is definitely a smaller-scale sofa, so I wouldn’t purchase it expecting a big, plush living-room couch that you’re going to sink into for hours. However, for what it is, I think it’s a great little sofa. It would be perfect for a dorm room, apartment, home office, waiting area, bonus room, or any smaller space where you want comfortable extra seating without taking up the entire room. Looks great! A bit of a pain to assemble but I'm happy with the result. The storage space underneath the cushion is only covered by some thin wood slats knit together so I wouldn't trust falling down onto that cushion. The instructions were not easy to follow at all. We have the same exact couch in a grey but I don’t remember it being this hard to set up. The couch is solid though and we must have liked it for us to get 2 of it! This one is in our family room and it has a beautiful royal blue color to it. If you are looking for a less bulky set that is still long and has room, this should do it. It does not look cheap. But I will say this - from knowledge of the other grey one we have, the fabric starts to have piles on it after a short time and this happens with age and from rubbing (sitting) upon it. I am now seeing that there might be ways to remove piling from furniture.
