These curtains are nice. The velvet fabric feels lovely. The creases came out after ten minutes in the dryer on low heat with a damp hand towel. My only complaint is that the side edges are shorter and lift up at the bottom, so they aren't consistently at the same length when hung. They are truly room darkening. Love these curtains! They say they are blackout and if I had blinds for my windows they most likely would be. They do filter out quite a bit of light even with no blinds and have significantly cooled down the temperature in the room. Some commenters complain that the curtains arrive with wrinkles that don't iron out. True, they come out of the box wrinkled, but washing them in a front loader on "warm" and tumble drying on "low" removed the bigger creases. A steam iron removed most of the smaller wrinkles. A few days of hanging on the curtain rod was enough to relax the rest. I assume that the light blocking weave has something to do with the stubborn wrinkles.
