This knob fits the two most common backsets in the U.S. (2-3/4 inches and 2-3/8 inches). The flat ball handle fits comfortably in your hand, and the satin nickel finish matches your home decor. With privacy in mind, this product locks from the inside with a turn button and does not include keyed cylinders. Privacy knobs are often used in bedrooms and bathrooms and open with generic tools. If you are preparing your door for installation, the cross bore should be 2-1/8 inches in diameter, and the edge bore should be 1 inch in diameter. Classy, heavy, secure door knob! I love it and I’m buying another for our back door. We still love this door knob BUT we did NOT notice when we purchased it that it can’t be keyed the same as all of our other Baldwin knobs! Our fault but now we need additional key, so beware if you want it to match other Baldwin locks.. Jean. California. Wed Mar 24 2021
