Victorian Handcrafted tiffany style pendant light, Stained glass dining room light lampshade is slight heavy than you expected, as it is made of real stained glass. But when you knock it, it sounds like plastic. That's why? Because of its special manufacturing process. Each glass piece is cut by hand, then polish the edge before wrapping the copper foil. The edges of the glass pieces are wrapped with adhesive copper tape (copper foil). Then putted together in a mould according to the pattern. At last, using soldering material to weld each glass at a very high temperature. The Stained glass is Much Heavy than Plastic, and couldn't been burned, normal knife couldn't cut them. Empress is a beautiful island pendant, featuring 3 hand-made stained glass dragonfly shades and a dark bronze canopy. This chandelier would be perfect to hang over a dining room table or over an entranceway. The handcrafted shades are made using the same methods developed by Louis Comfort Tiffany in the early 1900s. This process entails using 97 hand-cut stained art glass pieces and 31 glass beads, each wrapped in fine copper foil and soldered together at extremely high temperatures to form each unique piece. The exact size to the nearest inch may vary, and the exact color of each glass piece may vary due to each piece being handcrafted. The first image is with the light shining through, the second image is with no light. Dry listed and recommended for an indoor setting.
